On Gratitude

I just watched Gratitude: Louie Schwartzbert at TEDxSF, sent to me by fayzee

run time 9:55

I ended up in tears.  When I awoke this morning, the temperature was 5°.  The sunrise at 6:50 was visible below a bank of clouds, vibrant reds and oranges rippling through the layers of clouds, and although the overcast is now solid, the temperature is up to 13°.  Last night at 9:00, my neighbor and his lit up bobcat plowed out my driveway (2" on my sheltered porch, 2 1/2" on the unsheltered steps below, the lower step surrounded by snow (I've been sweeping that under the steps, which was relatively clear.  We got up to 44° and full sun, melting everywhere the day before the snow hit.)

Fifth plow job of the season.  So, today, I'll venture down to the mail box.  (My old body is not up for a shalom run!)
