Joni Mitchell on The Best of Joan Baez: The Millennium Collection

I just bought a copy of The Best of Joan Baez: The Millennium Collection and put it in my i-Tunes.

I know a lot of the songs, and I'm happily writing as I sing along, when suddenly, a new one comes up - track 5 out of 45: The Blonde in the Bleachers.

I listen, then think, "That can't be Joan!"

I can't get back into the groove of what I was trying to write.

Google to the rescue... The sound and timing matches perfectly to Joni Mitchell's version on her For the Roses album. So, is Joan singing backup for Joni on it?

WHY would it come up on a Joan Baez collection?
