Census Data

Although my last name is pretty rare, there are eleven people with my same first and last name in the US according to the US Census data. Adding my middle name cuts down on the misses. If any are wives, we would not really share a blood connection. Some are quite active civically.

Wikipedia has the village in England listed. I'm impressed. There's even a dot on the map. It's not quite where I envisioned it. They were trying very hard to be out of the way and safe...

There is one person in Belgium who contributes to Wikipedia who shares our last name. That's one of the countries our ancestors were chased through, according to unsubstantiated family stories. The more things become available on line, the more documentation just pops up...
