Collective Imagination Learn more about the artworks seen around town featured in Event Horizon and Benches and Binoculars -- two major exhibitions presenting new additions and old favorites from the Walker’s collection. Drawing inspiration from the salon-style hanging of Benches and Binoculars, the Collective Imagination campaign relies on the viewer to create meaningful relationships from seemingly random juxtapositions, interspersing artworks with scientific diagrams, historical photos, film stills, performance photos, and interesting facts to place art in the larger context that produces it.

INT. VIKING DREAMS ROOM

Art from Paris of Jeremiah, mostly nude, done by some of the top artists in the world, decorate the background, many by Obie, including the originals on the cover of the stack of CD's and DVD's called Viking Dreams, containing the songs from Mountain Lover, (which may end up called Viking Dreams or Mountain Home.)

A pretty young woman with a cash box is covering the sales at that table.) The place is crowded. Jeremiah and Obie get separated, with him winding up talking to a series of friends from the Twin Cities that he has not seen for a while. All are in formal wear.

        JEREMIAH
    Having wantonly wooed and won my wondrous woman, I feel as if I'm the luckiest man alive.


Jeremiah gives his trademark killer grin. The two men hug, pounding each other on the back, then drift off.

Another old buddy approaches, hugging Jeremiah with great enthusiasm. They break apart.

Jeremiah enthusiastically describes his intended with his hands cupped as if holding breasts.

        JEREMIAH
    She has the most bodacious bosom that just drives me bonkers.

Jeremiah moves on after a brief conversation and more back thumping.

Obie wanders into the room, easily spotting Jeremiah, who is the tallest man there. She silently watches him greet his old friends and work the room.

Jeremiah repeats his cup gesture.

        JEREMIAH
    Bodacious bonkers.

Jeremiah's parents approach, waiting patiently to have a word with and hug from their illustrious son.

        OBIE
      (embarrassed)
    Jeremiah, that's probably a little more enthusiastic endorsement of one of my body parts than either your parents or I am comfortable with, even though one of your parental units DID check it out pretty thoroughly. Suffice it to say, it's obvious the fruit didn't fall too far from the tree in this case.

OBIE and Jeremiah’s mother exchange a helpless gesture.

        OBIE
    You know the man's seriously smitten when he praises pulchritudinous pendants so plump they hang below my waist when unsupported.
