So today, I got to sources and how to annotate them with my Applied Communications class. Dull, boring, tedious, but ESSENTIAL...
The text book covers Books, Magazines, and Personal Interviews.
But for the truly creative:
How do I do a standard notation on... Fill in Odd Item Here
Oops! I didn't observe proper form when I posted the tatoo'd head...
A partial quote:
When citing tattoos or other body art/text:
List the part of the body on which the tattoo was seen.
Name the person sporting the tattoo (if known).
Identify the location where tattoo was observed (if known).
List the date the tattoo was observed (if known).
Example: "This End Up." [Left Buttock, Unidentified Male Dancer; The Loading Zone Bar, Halsted Street; Chicago, Il: January, 31 1998?]
On second thought, I don't know whose head it is, where the shot was taken, nor the date... So maybe I didn't do TOO badly, all things considered.
Guess I'd best not use that in class, since this is high school, not college... But *I LAUGHED*!
