I Didn't Do It, Did I?

That you are laughing, not upset with my stupidity, is a GOOD THING!

Anyone who had been here and seen the number of times I've flooded out the gate from the little house into the stud pen or noticed the two broken floats still attached to the side of the tank as the turn screws are rusted in place would be VERY LIKELY to consider an operational tank float to be a superior gift idea -- needed and practical, immediately useful, and security... With the practical turn of mind of someone who grew up roughing it in the wilds of South Dakota, I thought it an emminately practical, sensible gift, but we've had our first frost (early in September), and I always lose the pieces of hose to splitting from too late use in the season... The box had been bashed about a bit in shipment, (one corner held together by the clear packing tape) so it was not obviously an already opened/repacked item...
