Unchained Melody -- Lyrics

Unchained Melody
~ The Righteous Brothers

Oh, my love
my darling
I've hungered for your touch
a long lonely time
and time goes by so slowly
and time can do so much
are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
Godspeed your love to me

Lonely rivers flow to the sea,
to the sea
to the open arms of the sea
lonely rivers sigh 'wait for me, wait for me'
I'll be coming home wait for me

Oh, my love
my darling
I've hungered for your touch
a long lonely time
and time goes by so slowly
and time can do so much
are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
Godspeed your love to me

Edit:

Yesterday, I was reading a bunch of stuff on sleep disorders and how to get a good night's sleep, and setting up "good sleep hygiene" which consists of going to bed at a regular hour and getting up at a regular time, getting up and doing something if you don't fall asleep within 10-15 minutes, and only using the bedroom for sleeping (or sex, which is out of the picture for me), so it looks as if that would nix my reading in bed... one of my favorite activities. I'll have to think about that one for a while...

So, last night, when I couldn't fall asleep, I got up, turned on the computer, and looked up the lyrics to a song I'd been humming/singing off and on all night. I thought I was missing some lyrics, but it turns out that it just repeated lines. I was trying to make it be more original... but that is novels that you're not supposed to repeat yourself in, not songs, where repetition has a long and honorable history.

After doing a few more from the A-B list, I tried to go on to see what C-D offered, but none of the other links worked in the old browser I was using. Since the sleep stuff recommended NOT doing anything interesting, I did not open up a newer browser that would probably have allowed them to work and went back to bed instead. I was still awake when the pre-dawn light showed up.

I seem to be quite at odds with the sleep hygiene methods... But I am sticking to the "no naps" stuff to see if that helps. (I ALWAYS turn my nights and days around in the summer time. I'm just a little late doing it this year, as there's been lots of delightful company and not too much hot hot weather so far.
