1. What drinking water do you prefer -- tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
I like our treated water where I live. Bottled and purified seem characterless. No additions, please. Ice sometimes, but I've even been learning to forgo that.
2. What are your favorite flavor of chips?
I like sour cream and onion, and Fritos, but I can't eat that much salt any more... Bummer!
3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
Skinless turkey breasts, or a T-Bone steak, or an Iowa chop, nice and plump and juicy... with a salad and a fresh slice of bread.
Turkey and trimmings is excellent, too. Stuffing from scratch is fun if you have time.
4. How do you have your eggs?
In things like a cake is fantastic (scratch German Chocolate is my fave... hold the coconut in the icing)
Deviled eggs! I'm only supposed to have two eggs a week, but sometimes, I splurge and do a whole dozen...
Breakfast, a sunny side up is my favorite, but the white has to be cooked all the way through, and I always crave another no-no, bacon, with it. And once I do that, then I just have to have a BLT for lunch, then I'm in enough distress that I'm off them for another six months or so.
Now, if you are talking omelet, it needs cheese, celery chopped fine, chips of bacon in the center, folded in... and I'm NOT the cook on that one. I can't even turn hash browns over okay. (I only flip pancakes as part of a comic routine.)
5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
It's been so long, I can't remember. Jess made me a "birthday pie" with fat free chocolate pudding and goop on top of a graham cracker crust with NO butter holding it together. He dropped it on a chair (cloth) though, so I don't think it counts...
How about combo meals? Marthy and I did one one day, Sue Wolf and I did several over the years (now those are UNIQUE, let me tel you!) We play, gee, what would that be like and off we go. Always edible...
If we go WAY back, Faye used to cook for Julie and I when we'd horse around out there on the way to or from the mountains. Overstuffed was our standard state. Faye was another combination cook. I still use her cucumber recipe...
