On Resentment - Nelson Mandela

Resentment is like drinking poison and then hoping it will kill your enemies.

-- Nelson Mandela (found in The Homecoming: A Thunder Point Novel, by Robyn Carr, p. 80)

When I tried to dump the cat food this morning, the four kittens were all there, safely through their first night unchaperoned by their mother. The sneaky black one got inside again. He went over and sniffed noses with Hint of Orange, who was right there behind the door.

I doubled up on the amount of food I left in the Cat House. Although Black Stripe met me at the door and Four's Son was visible just inside the Out hole, she did not leave with me, staying with the food, instead.
