Replacement -- Do Cats Adopt?

Twistatrill can evidently not only count, but sees color. When Coqet stepped on her black kitten, she didn't seem to react, but when the first of the 7/8 grown black daughters of Myhrr had her litter, I noticed that Trill had a tiny newborn black kitten in with her three week old fluffballs. It was quite comical to see.

The next day, four small black bodies were in that area, and the older kittens had moved off the old horse blanket into the back of the dog igloo, playing with the folds and belts. Both mothers seem to get along in there at once. There's plenty of room.

It will be interesting to see what the third one does when she has her kittens.
